FIRST CIRCLE was formed in Davao five years back. The group's name was originally taken from the title of Pat Metheny album. In 1995, the band came to Manila to seek greater opportunities and work towards the fulfillment of their dreams. They have played the rounds of the music circuit in and out of Manila where they have earned the reputation as great live performers. They have also performed in Phuket, Thailand. First Circle came up with their self-titled album with 10 original compositions. The first single off the album "SANA" made it to the charts.

Bassist Bolichie Suzara, vocalist Brian Anderson who also plays the rhythm guitar and lead guitarist Dennis Ronalan are the original members of FIRST CIRCLE while the others decided to leave the limelight. But equally talented artists took their place such as Raul Policarpio who plays the keyboards. Raul or "B.K.G." (as he is fondly called by his band mates) is a versatile artist and the apparent leader of the group. The upbeat sound of the drums is by Rodel Luzon. And the newest member of the group with a voice sweet and yet powerful is Odette Felisilda or "HIP" to her band mates. In addition to this, FIRST CIRCLE is now being managed by Bolix Suzara, who also handles one of the country's hottest group -- FREESTYLE.

FIRST CIRCLE always had the desire to share their kind of music. And with the new line-up in hand, a new manager, and not to mention a new recording company -- VIVA NEO RECORDS, the group is now ready to come back with their new album. It features more original compositions and some revivals that you'll surely love to listen to and groove along with.
